What you will be doing:

-Ensure that our applications and architecture are performant, scalable, and maintainable
-Coordinate efforts between product owners, user experience teams, and engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs
-Manage, mentor, and coach engineers to be their best
-Help to establish learning and career growth plans for engineers that report to you
-Research and test new technologies to find creative and innovative solutions for products and processes
-Collaborate with other directors, architects, and VPs to develop and promote the adoption of technical best practices and procedures
-Provide direction and technological options when identifying and solving business problems

How do you qualify?:

-Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team in an agile environment
-Expert in at least one of the following: Angular (hybrid AngularJS/Angular is a bonus); React; Ionic; NodeJS; Mean Stack; Webpack/Npm tooling
-Solid experience with front end and/or back end development - .Net
-Understanding of Cloud architecture and infrastructure (Azure preferred)
-Experience with DevOps and CI/CD on a Microsoft stack
-Fiscally responsible, with experience managing a budget
-Knowledge of strategic planning for teams and monitoring team performance and health
-Willingness to mentor engineers and support their professional development and continuous learning
