Position: Driver

Shift Morning!

Primary Responsibilities
1. Assumes responsibility for the proper loading, securing and unloading of material onto the trucks.
2. Conducts a circle check of the vehicle and load for safety
3. Contacts customer on site to coordinate delivery times and obtain site unloading details.
4. Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
5. Clarifies Brenlo’s delivery standards and policies as required.
6. Unloads safely with no damage to materials. Ensures materials are secured.
7. Contacts logistics coordinator for direction of no one at site to receive materials.
8. Completes paperwork and receives customer signature to verify receipt of materials. Returns
paperwork to dispatch.
9. Maintains exterior and interior of truck.
Teamwork - Works responsively and collaboratively with teammates
NOTE: May be assigned other responsibilities based on the changing needs of customers or the
business.
Skills Required
1. Technical Skills – valid DZ or G license; knowledge of city roads and traffic patterns
2. Product Knowledge – can identify wood species and profiles
3. Interpersonal skills – works respectfully with others and when in contact with customers
4. Physical capability – able to load and unload heavy weights
