Electrical Design

Are you an Electrical Designer that demonstrates strong communication and organization and thrives in a large team environment? Do you have hands-on practical experience in engineering for automotive electrical systems? We are currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join a dynamic team in an exciting 1 year contract opportunity.

This could be the role for you!

This contract offers Monday to Friday work in a growing stable company with competitive hourly rates.

In this position you would be;

• Electrical design engineering of electrical communications, computers and display systems to meet specifications
• Develop and maintain data, prepare and present formal Design Reviews following established procedures
• Investigate, respond, and implement corrective action to Production or supplier
• Support prototype builds, create test plans, execute tests and create test reports to validate designs, mitigate risks and/or troubleshoot problems
• Plan and organize to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget
• Manipulation of CAD models

Required Qualifications:

• University Degree or College Diploma in electrical engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience
• Knowledge & understanding of electrical systems and design practices
• Experience with design and integration of electrical systems
• Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications and other engineering software
• Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.
