Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician who is looking to work for a challenging and rewarding position within the plastics industry?

Check out this full time direct hire opportunity available in Concord

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the following responsibility:
• Trouble shooting mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic failures on high speed and packaging machines
• Modifying production equipment to suit production requirements.
• Attending weekly departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
• Available for occasional off shift coverage and regular weekend overtime to carry out P/Ms
• Report through a work order system daily all work performed on equipment including any follow up work required.
•Complete all other reasonable tasks put to you by management.

Qualifications
What we are looking for?

• Must hold an Industrial Electrician 442a
• Should have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in plastics and/or high speed packaging manufacturing
• Must have a solid understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics
• Must demonstrate a good understanding of the English language and following detailed instructions
• Must be familiar with Industrial machinery safety standards
• Must know and practice emergency lockout on all equipment
