We are seeking an Equipment Technician and Outside Sales Representative for a dynamic Vancouver Island-based company that has been selling medical, mobility and home care equipment since 2003.

The ideal candidate will be both adept at adjusting mobility equipment, as well as customer service - creating new contacts and developing existing contacts within long term care facilities, the community, hospitals and group homes in the Victoria region.

This is a 14 month maternity leave cover, which would start as a temporary position with the strong possibility of becoming permanent.


Opportunity: Full time, 14 months, temporary to permanent position
Location: Victoria, BC - 15-20 minutes from downtown
Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: $40,000 plus monthly performance incentives
Start: As soon as possible

About you:

• You have a mechanical aptitude and are quick to learn the workings and set up of multiple pieces of equipment. Ideally you have some experience in a medical or care setting, with a basic familiarity with mobility equipment and how to adjust these devices.
• You enjoy meeting and helping new people, demonstrating and adjusting medical products to their needs, and explaining the features and benefits
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and a natural talent for building relationships
• Able to prioritize and manage your time effectively
• Strong IT and MS Office skills
• Posses a clean Class 5 driver's licence, although own car not required
