Are you looking for long-term assignments? Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an Executive Assistant to work a 12-month assignment in Oakville. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week at a rate of $25.36 per hour.


• Proactively managing calendars and resolving scheduling conflicts
• Completing expense reports on time with all required information
• Interacting with Finance on expense reports for the processing of all invoices
• Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas including compiling agenda and documents for travel-related meetings and attending to travel arrangements and accommodations. Experience arranging international travel is an asset.
• Communicates directly with those inside and outside the organization on behalf of the Leaders, always acting with professionalism and integrity and demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
• Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Leaders. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response and redirect when appropriate. Works closely and effectively with the Leaders and senior team to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

• Work full-time hours (7.5 hrs/day)
• 12-month contract with possibility of extension

• Related University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least 3-5 years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a large organization.
• Pro-Active , results-driven and community oriented
• Strong ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Interpersonal skills working with Executives and teams – establishing credibility, trust and support of the Executive Team as well as internal/external partners and customers.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Amex Travel, Oracle, Concur
