We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a venture capital firm in downtown Toronto on a permanent basis!

Are you a seasoned Executive assistant with 5-7 years of experience as an Executive assistant or someone with an experience supporting senior management? Are you looking for your next opportunity as an Executive Assistant in Downtown Toronto? Do you have prior experience in a fast paced environment within a financial institution or similar industry?

As an Executive Assistant you will be working in a very collaborative team and will be responsible for providing high level support to the managing partners using your skills and expertise. What YOU will be doing as an Executive Assistant:

• Handling the information related to the managing partners with utmost discretion
• Managing the complex and constantly changing calendar requirements of the partners
• Coordinating the domestic and international travel arrangements for the partners
• Managing and Supervising various company events, lunch/dinners etc.
• Constantly keeping a track of the priorities like meetings, and other initiatives by conducting daily check-ins to ensure they are on track
• Planning and Coordinating the various long term projects
• Cultivating and Managing relationship with internal and external stakeholders for instance the investors and portfolio companies
• Creating the expense reports
• Providing ad hoc project support

Qualifications
What YOU bring to the table:

• 5+ years of experience work experience as an Executive Assistant in a similar capacity and/or within similar industry is a MUST
• 4 - year university degree is a MUST
• Adaptable to different types of personalities and able to tackle day to day responsibilities with humour
• You are comfortable taking charge, finding creative solutions and being one step ahead of the business and partners needs
• Strong ability to build rapport and trust with both partners as well as all stakeholders
• Excellent working proficiency with computers and various social media platforms is a MUST
• Experience working with Mac OS and applications like Evernote is PREFERRED
• Experience working in a venture capital firm is PREFERRED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent multitasking ability with an impeccable attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work after hours to support the business needs
• Proactive with a ‘can-do attitude’
