Senior Failure Analysis Engineer

Our client is a technology leader in the area of Oil and Gas completions. The focus of this role will be applying failure analysis engineering with down-hole apparatus. We are looking to speak with the best of the best in this area for this exciting permanent full-time, Calgary based opportunity with some travel to the USA.

You must possess knowledge of the following experience:

1 • Finite element analysis (FEA) modeling analysis
2 • Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling analysis
3 • Nondestructive Testing
4 • Stress Engineering
5 • Strength Of Material Analysis
6 • Materials Testing
7 • Forensic Engineering
8 • Failure Mode Analysis
9 • Root Cause Analysis
10 • Corrosion Engineering
11 • Fracture Mechanics
12 • Incident Site Investigations
13 • Vibration Analysis
14 • Fatigue Analysis
15 • 10+ years direct experience, (preferred graduate degree but would consider undergrad with same tenure Failure Analysis experience - min. 10 years
16 • Graduate Degree (physics, engineering or science)
17 • Upstream Oilfield Experience Preferred
18 • Excellent Understanding Of Mechanics, Hydraulics, And Material Science
19 • Proven Ability To Analyze, Invent And Solve Problems
20 • Good Oral, Written And Presentation Communication Skills
