Are you a Fleet Maintenance Manager looking for a great position in a construction company?

Do you have experience optimizing time and cost of heavy equipment maintenance in a fast-paced environment?

What will you be doing in this role?
This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of 6 mechanics and 1 supervisor ensuring the efficiency and effective maintenance and repair of a fleet of trucks and construction equipment.

The Fleet Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership to all aspects of the shop including training, mentoring and coaching the team
• Implementing preventive maintenance schedules
• Identify and build a business case for continuous improvement projects
• Ensuring the output of work by team members is done in a timely manner and everyone is focused on high priority equipment repairs and meeting operational needs.
• Ensuring that all activities are properly registered in the Maintenance Software system
• Sourcing and recommend for capital expenditures projects
• Ensuring shop cost control and budget

What do you bring to the role?

• Minimum 5 years of previous fleet maintenance management experience.
• Heavy equipment or construction equipment is a strong asset
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strategical mindset, but hands-on

Compensation package!
• Salary range from $70 - 75K based on experience
• Discretionary Bonus
• Benefits after 3 months
• 3% pension match
• 2 weeks of vacation
• Located in Brampton – Greater Toronto Area
