We are currently recruiting for a General Labourer in the Kitchener area. The company is a recognized leader in the design & manufacture of high quality business and healthcare furniture. This role entails:

- Provide upholsterers with jobs according to the production list.
- Deliver frames and foam pieces to the appropriate upholsterers.
- Collect work from the sewing department on a regular basis and puts sewn product on shelves.
- Picks up chairs from the benches when required and place on conveyors.
- Help keep foam area clear of all “A” & “B” room product.
- Retrieve frames from 4th floor, finished parts from Finishing department
- Ensure correct components and proper shipping labels are on all chairs.
- Update status of progress on Express list and Regular production list daily
- Places boxes on conveyors.

- $14.90 an hour to start
- Benefits available through randstad
- Temporary to permanent position

- Day Shift (Monday - Friday hours of 7am - 3:30pm)
- Good work life balance
- Set schedule with no rotation

- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
