Our Calgary Branch is seeking to hire a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Technician with a valid Off Road Certification to work out of the City of Calgary, Alberta. This position will be strictly in the city and working out of a environmental equipment shop and will have you home every night with no out of town travel.

You will be providing maintenance to service equipment as well as troubleshooting the equipment problems and malfunctions. The perfect candidate will have experience performing the above tasks on the following types of environmental equipment such as trenchers, directional drills, brush chippers, stump cutters, skid steers, easy lifts, forklifts and more.

The Required Qualifications:

- Have a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Technician Ticket
- Have a valid Off Road Certification
- Have a valid Driver’s License with a Clean Abstract (No driving restrictions)
- Have extensive knowledge of Electrical and Hydraulic Systems
- Having experience working on Environmental Equipment is considered an asset
- Written and verbal comprehension of the English language
- Must have good attention to detail, ability to prioritize and problem solve
- Ability to work independently or as a team
