Are you a HSEQS (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Security) Manager with a chemical background? This role is for you! We are looking for a HSEQS Manager to join the team in the Hamilton area.

As a HSEQS Manager, you will be responsible for:

-Develop processes for Quality Assurance program and methods for Quality Control
-Conduct soil and water sampling
-Manage and execute schedule for preventative maintenance, calibration, and validation within the lab
-Transition the business from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015
-Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to workplace health and safety
-Attend workplace health and safety meeting involving the chemical industry standards and concerns
-Visit customers upon request to discuss finished goods quality matters
-Maintain security alarm monitoring program & building access/authority
-Dangerous Goods Advisor
-Primary first aid responder

As a qualified HSEQS Manager, you meet the following requirements:

-University degree or diploma in Chemistry
-Experience in analytical chemistry
-Thorough knowledge of WHMIS and TDG (ground) and Environmental Emissions Regulations and Permits, Accident Incident Investigation and be familiar with the regulatory requirements of Safety Data Sheets
-Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and have thorough knowledge of the OHSA are considered an asset
-Position will require some flexibility to come in during off hours in support of a 24/7 manufacturing operation
