Job title: Gas Technician- Installer of Appliances

Day Shift: 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM

- Direct hire opportunity!
- $23.00/hour

Duties:
- Delivery of Equipment
- Responsible for minor vent repair and cleaning at building site
- Ensure washers are properly connected to the water supply, and leak tested
- Ensure all washers / dryers are installed in a safe and professional manner
- Ensure all Gas fired dryers are connected and leak tested
- Testing the function of all equipment installed
- Responsible for reporting any laundry room deficiencies to the Service Manager
- Ensure all new and used equipment are transported with no damage
- Ensure washers and dryers are positioned and levelled
- Follow all company safe lifting and transporting rules
- Represent our client in a positive and professional manner
- Be able to handle Multitasking - Other duties as assigned

Who are we looking for?
- Valid G2 Gas Tech license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Previous installations/HVAC experience
- Valid Full G Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Solid knowledge of Greater Toronto Area.
- Ability to lift machinery using a lifting device/dolly (Can Handle 300LB weight)
- Good Knowledge of Hand tools and Power tools (Drill, Hammer drill, Grinder.)

Knowledge/Skills required:
- Basic electronics / electrical skills and machine diagnostics skills
- Able to work with machine handling equipment
- Must have basic toolkit for installation purposes
- Must have good understanding of building facilities, plumbing, electrical and venting for the purpose of washer and dryer installation
- Ability to identify building problems that may hinder a complete installation of washers and dryers
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Able to work flexible hours
- Able to travel out of town for a few days
