MILLWRIGHT/ Scarborough

We are looking for an experienced Millwright coming from a high speed packaging/printing/pharmaceutical environment who is looking for their next challenge. Working with a leader in home and commercial coatings you will be s valued member of the maintenance team with the following responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical problems on production and auxiliary equipment
-Modify and repair/replace parts of machinery to maintain production
- Fabricate/modify machine parts using workshop equipment such as lathe/milling and welders
-Perform changeover, setup and adjustments on production equipment
-Record maintenance activities and update log books
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety procedure
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the safety plan of the dept.
-Supervise outside contractors when onsite
-Participate in major projects, installations and start ups

What is Offered to YOU?
- $32.85/hr to start
- Steady work and stability
- 8 hours shifts-rotating

What are we looking for?
- 3-10 years experience
- Licensed Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433a required
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
-Good understanding of safety procedures such as ZES
-Ability to read, write and speak English
-Intermediate computer skills
- Good analytical and attention to detail skills

- Electrical Troubleshooting skills
- Industrial Electrician License 442A is an asset
