We are hiring for an Injection Mold Setup Technician in the Mississauga area. As the Injection Mold Setup Technician you will be responsible for the following key duties;

- Setup of injection molds, presses and auxiliary equipment before machine start up and establish proper molding conditions (temperature settings, electrical control settings, etc)
- Assist with maintenance of auxiliary equipment including: granulators, conveyors, temperature controls, mold electrical controls
- Make minor repairs and adjustments to machines and equipment, notify Plant Manager of necessary major repairs or issues
- Troubleshoot injection moulding presses to meet expected product quality and specifications

- 5 or more years experience as an Injection Molding Setup Technician
- Ability to manage multiple mold changes per shift
- Experience with hot runner and cold runner injection mold machines
- Knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding processes, molding design, understanding of hydraulic circuits related to injection molding and knowledge of auxiliary equipment related to injection molding
- Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
