Randstad, Canada's Top Agency, is currently sourcing for Multiple Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics in Grande Prairie. This role requires at least 5 years experience working as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic, with an off road cert.

You must be local to Grande Prairie or outskirts of the city for this role.


The Heavy Duty Mechanic - Journeyman will be a member of the Maintenance department responsible for daily repairs and preventative maintenance of well servicing equipment. Reporting to Maintenance manager, the Heavy Duty Mechanic - Journeyman will focus on diagnosing and repairing equipment in a timely and effective manner.

Specific Accountability's:

- Diagnose and repair equipment in a timely and effective manner

- Assist in mentoring apprentices and new employees

- Ensure hat all paperwork is complete both accurately and on time

- Verify repairs and ensure they are completed and documented

- Ensure all maintenance inspections are completed

- Record all equipment deficiencies

- Remote field work may be required

Key Attributes:

- Knowledge of coil tubing, fracturing, and truck and trailer an asset but no required

- Must have diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

- Self-motivated and have good computer and communication skills

- Ability to read and understand equipment and vehicle repair manuals


Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/Millwright or Automotive Certification acceptable
