Our client located in Oakville is looking for a Business Systems Analyst/QA Tester.


- Effectively elicit, articulate and author business and technical requirements documents.
- Develop expertise in the business and technical aspects of all our client products and services and understand
the technical and business challenges that may impact the rollout of an application/process. This includes
keeping the Operations team informed of challenges in anticipation of service roll-out.
- Lead and manage the development of quality deliverables for small, medium and large projects, with an eye to
the impacts to the financial institution clients
- Partner with other departments, vendors, leaders, application development and testing teams to ensure quality
solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our client's financial institution clients
- Provide consulting services to our client technical vendors throughout the engagement and delivery stages
- Lead the preparation of the test strategy, test scripts for system integration testing and functional testing.
- Assist in the coordination of testing including the support with partners and vendors.
- Follow and lead established testing processes, in doing so, identify, assess, address, resolve and/or escalate,
develop contingency plans as needed.
- Maintain understanding of partner and vendor roadmaps, and have an understanding of how these
technologies can be leveraged to bring business value
- Contribute to the design of the end to end processes for development, implementation, use, reporting and
feedback on developed product

Qualifications and Experience; Skills and Attributes

Qualifications - 1-2 years working in related systems, business environments, and/or technical support roles

- 1-2 years in a BSA/QA role leading projects and designing business solutions
- Conduct and led requirement design sessions and produced relevant solution design documents in alignment
to with all the stakeholder needs
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field
Experience - Familiarity with the technology trends and how this impacting Canadians now and in the future
- Experience working in the Canadian payments or financial services industries is an asset
- Familiarity with settlement and reconciliation practices between settlement agents is an asset
- Understanding of, and appreciation for, Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management

- Ability to multi-task, demonstrate detailed orientation and organizational skills with a track record of consistently
meeting deliverables
- Allies with other business functional areas to remain current on project status, and inform partners &
management of progress; conversely, keeps business managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts
- Ability to effectively lead both in-person and remote cross functional project teams.
