Our client in the Kitchener area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Demand Planner/Analyst to join their team! As a Demand Planner, you would be responsible to plan the forecast requirements of whole goods to support our customer demands.

Specific responsibilities would include:
- Use historical and sales assumption information to establish and maintain system generated forecasts by item in our JDA Demand Forecasting software system.
- Analyze demand patterns and changes to maintain deliverables and inventory measurable.
- Adjust stock levels based on customer demands.
- Coordinate with the Demand Manager in the development and maintenance of monthly/annual reporting to support Global Corporate Demand and Supply measurement guidelines.
- Recommend process improvements to prevent out of stock and excess inventory situations.
- Work with the sales and marketing team to identify sales opportunities and forecast.
- Interface with Sales and Customer Service Department to support Retail Customer Forecast Management and information requirements. Manage and actively plan to Seasonal Forecast timelines to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
- Assist with department reporting and continuous improvement

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working in a retail supply chain environment
- Post Secondary Education in Supply Chain or related field
- Previous experience working with Cognos, JDA or Microsoft Power BI would be an asset
