Are you a law clerk with over 4 years experience? Do you enjoy commercial real estate law/transactions and working for some of Canada's most interesting REITs? Are you a law clerk that enjoys working on the most complex transactions? what you bring to the table:

• 4 years experience in commercial real estate
• experience with sales/purchases of office buildings, shopping centres, industrial parks
• strong experience with title searches and registrations - resolving complex problems with titles
• Terraview wizard
• experience with leasing considered an asset but not mandatory
• Law Clerk Diploma graduate
• strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to get things done with third parties
• a great attitude, perfect for a team environment

what you will do:

• prepare and draft closing docs for complex transactions
• search and resolve title claims
• work with third parties: banks, mortgage lenders, private lenders, opposing counsel, inhouse counsel, surveyors, etc.
• coordinate (assigning tasks) for closing searches and closing books
• work with your lawyers and clients to take detailed instructions
• regular client interaction
• collect all necessary information from all parties and find out missing info as needed
