Are you a legal assistant or law clerk with a minimum of 2 years experience to a maximum of 7 years of experience working for in a law firm environment? Do you have experience in Wills and Estates, Real Estate, and or Civil Litigation? Experience in all three? Even better! Want to work in a dynamic environment that knows how to keep things lively, engaging and accommodating? Do you love a fast-paced practice and can quickly pivot between files? Are you great with catching all details, and know how to comfortably run a practice with little direction, and stay three steps ahead of your lawyer? Do you take initiative and, although you will get clear direction, can sometimes take action without it? Above all else, do you have great customer service skills and really know how to create great experiences for your clients? If this sounds like you, please read on.

what you will get

• $40,000 (2 years) to $60,000 (7 years) base salary commensurate to experience

who you are

• 2 to 7 years of experience working as a legal assistant or law clerk
• incredibly intelligent and ambitious
• willing to take on responsibility and ownership of a practice and work as a partner to your lawyer
• great customer service skills
• experience working ACL, Teraview an asset
• strong MS Office skills necessary
• ability to work at fast-pace
• strong experience in civil litigation, or wills and estates, or real estate or all three

what you will do

• manage administrative tasks for a busy practice
• filing, printing scanning
• review of complex legal documents (litigation, real estate, and wills and estates)
• preparation of legal documents at the jr to intermediate clerk level as needed
• connect with clients for signatures and the collections of documents
