The largest seafood custom processor in Western Canada is looking for a Lead Hand/Supervisor to join our team. • 1 for Morning shift (7:00am to 3:30pm) Reporting to the Randstad Account Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of 20 to 80 contract employees. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Being a liason between the client and Randstad. Conducting onboarding procedures in the following areas: • Safety Orientation • Hands on Production line training • Time keeping and attendance Coordinating with Operations Manager daily scheduling needs. Communicating daily work schedules to contract staff. Communicating to Randstad Account Manager all client needs for the following day. Promoting and enforcing Health and Safety rules and regulations. Attending monthly Health and Safety meetings. Evaluating performance of contract employees. Identifying strong performers for monthly awards.

Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a high volume production Lead Hand/Supervisory role. Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment. Must have excellent people and communication skills. Must be able to handle stress well and complete tasks under tight deadlines. Previous food processing plant experience a major asset. Previous seafood processing experience a major asset but not mandatory. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible.
