Do you enjoy working in a manufacturing or industrial environment? Do you want to gain additional experience completing a variety of tasks in an industrial setting including inspecting, cleaning and operating production machinery?

Working as a Machine Operator at this upgraded, state of the art facility located approximately 40 minutes South-East of Ottawa, you will be contributing to a seasoned and loyal team in a dynamic and unionized environment.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
• Operate production machinery independently or as a team
• Operate various types of forklifts
• Perform daily inspections and cleaning of production machinery
• Help ensure a safe workplace by conducting site maintenance
• Complete daily production reports

• Salary: $16.57 per hour progressing to $20 per hour after 1000 hours
• Permanent/full time position in a unionized environment, as it is a unionized position
• Shift: must be flexible to work 12 hour days (8am to 8pm) and 12 hour nights (8pm to 8am), possibility of rotational schedule
• Benefits including health care
• 2 weeks’ vacation with incremental increases

• Grade 12 education
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Good attention to detail, work well in a team, punctual and dependable
• Bilingual (asset)
• Must have a personal vehicle
