What you’ll be doing:

-The Maintenance Supervisor directs the maintenance and repair of a Calgary, AB manufacturing establishment's machinery, equipment; as well as the electrical and mechanical systems
-Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs for the Calgary, AB plant
-Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
-Plan and manage a facility's maintenance budget
-Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff.

Do you have the qualifications?

-Usually requires completion of a college or university program in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related discipline
-An equivalent combination of technical training and experience in manufacturing maintenance may be considered
-Several years of supervisory experience in manufacturing maintenance is required
-Experience in an automated manufacturing environment is required
-Demonstrated knowledge in maintenance and repair troubleshooting is required
-Experience with sewing machines is considered an asset
-Experience with preventative maintenance software (CMMS included) is considered an asset.
