Maintenance Manager
Our client south-west of London is looking for a Maintenance Manager for their Production facility, offering a competitive salary and benefit package. Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning and control of technical work, preventative maintenance projects and equipment reliability including but not limited to:
•Direct management of 8 staff in the maintenance department
•Organize continuous improvement projects to improve efficiencies, maintaining the budget for technical department including projects and purchasing all maintenance equipment and parts.
•Maintain spare parts inventory accuracy and budget for departmental projects
•Coordinate work schedules to correspond with production priorities and to improve the throughput of the equipment while maintaining good quality of the products
•Schedules repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
•Accountable for permits, licenses and all environmental requirements for provincial and federal
•Coordinate and schedule outside contract work for the plant while monitoring validity of contractor safety clearance certificates for WSIB
•Safety conscious in all areas; exceeding the requirements for food and employee safety

Maintenance Manager Qualifications:
•University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related education
•5+ Years’ experience working with specialized electrical / mechanical / electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
•Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising teams and project management
•Proven process improvements and continuous improvement examples implemented
•Knowledge of budgets and financial statements
•Proficiency with Microsoft computer programs
•Leadership, organizational skills, creativity, teamwork
•SAP Inventory experience an asset
