We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing team in the Etobicoke area.

Do you have 2 or more years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic?
Are you comfortable maintaining and repairing high speed industrial machinery?

As the new Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for the following key duties;

- Electro-mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial machinery in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain automated coating machinery, CNC machinery, robotic systems, paint circuit lines and equipment, conveyor systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electric motors, replacing fuses, troubleshooting sensors, compressors and auxiliary equipment
- Conduct machinery and equipment startups at beginning of each shift
- Perform preventative maintenance duties and record completed activities
- Documenting preventative maintenance activities and maintenance items completed
- Conduct inspection of equipment to determine repairs or servicing required
- Fabricate components using machine shop equipment and tools as needed for machinery repairs
- Establish and maintain adequate inventory of spare parts, fuses etc. to ensure continued operation of all lines
- 80% of duties to include maintenance tasks, 20% of duties required to assist in production operations on a back-up basis

- 3 or more years’ experience with Electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial/manufacturing work environment
- Millwright license an asset but not required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize key items
- Maintenance and repair experience of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, automated industrial machinery, conveyor systems, compressors
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings & blueprints
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take charge in situations
- Must have good written and verbal communication
