Randstad is now hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor in the immediate area of Calgary, Alberta. This position will report directly to the Department Superintendent and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operations of all machinery, equipment and employees in order to coordinate corrective, preventative and emergency repairs to all associated areas.

Breakdown of Responsibility:
1. To minimize, achieve and surpass downtime goals in the fabrication area while working with the production supervisors and managers; solving maintenance and production problems.
2. Emphasis on cost reduction through a preventative maintenance program within the related accountable department.
3. Ensure that all mechanics, electricians and employees are working safely and operating equipment in a safe manner.
4. Reducing operations costs by monitoring and achieving utility and usage goals.
5. Ensure required parts and tools are readily available for mechanics to safely perform the duties at hand.

1. Possess a millwright Ticket (Journeyman or Red Seal)
2. Related food industry experience is considered an asset
3. Capable of using SAP asset management computer program
4. Understand budget numbers and control
5. Equipment operation and maintenance experience
6. Knowledge of critical task procedures

Candidates with oil and gas experience are encouraged to apply but preference will be given to those with direct experience in the food industry.
