We’re looking for an experienced Manager II, Solutions Consulting & Creative Design with a background in the banking or consulting sector. If you have experience as a lead and excellent management and leadership skills you’d be a great fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead, manage, and inspire the IT Solution Design and Creative Design teams in order to maximize team performance and employee engagement
•Develop a culture of coaching and mentoring at all levels of the Solutions Consulting and Creative Design teams, effectively managing staff to optimize people potential through career guidance
•Foster a team atmosphere and information sharing building strong sense of community through team building events
•Support internal and external clients by ensuring solutions and designs are aligned with business needs
•Build and maintain a team of Solutions Consultants that have a solid understanding of business processes and success factors, a deep knowledge of technical systems, awareness of industry trends (including clients and competitors), excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and superior communication skills.
•Act as a subject matter expert on Solutions Consulting and Creative Design subjects
•Maintain a near real time view of resource plan for current and future projects
•Establish and maintain strategic sourcing relationships with key vendors to ensure team is positioned to meet business demand for scalability and non-core skillsets as required
•Maintain an awareness of company’s long term priorities, business and technology strategy, and technology and product roadmaps, in order to ensure that IT solutions satisfy both tactical short term goals as well as long term strategic goals

•Strong understanding of business practices related to payments and financial services (emphasis on cheque payments), customer communication services (customer statements), insurance, fraud analytics, large data management and mining, web services, and electronic archiving
•Superior management and leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, self-awareness, political awareness, and the provisioning of constructive feedback
•Understanding of modern technology concepts attached to Digital Transformation, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, robotic process automation, big data analytics, identity management, responsive design, etc.
•Strong understanding of User Interface and Experience Design methodologies and techniques, including design systems, user behavior patterns, process mapping, etc.
