Are you currently saving money for your organization? Are you focused on I/T Procurement? If you have answered yes to both of these questions, we have an opportunity for you to consider. We have a client located in the western part of Toronto where they are looking for a Manager, Technology Services & Contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing relationships with suppliers delivering technology products (e.g. hardware or software) or technology services (e.g. consulting, application development, and infrastructure) . The role is also accountable for negotiating supplier contracts, monitoring compliance with terms and conditions and reporting on supplier performance ensuring best practices are applied.

You will be accountable for:

• Managing supplier relationships and operational contract compliance, handling contract / invoicing issues, and escalating performance or compliance issues.

• Designing, developing and managing supplier scorecards and metrics to provide visibility on supplier status, potential issues, and trends that require management attention.

• Monitoring suppliers’ performance, ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, and drive improvement.

• Developing and maintaining an overall Technology view of all products and services delivered under specific contracts and/or by specific suppliers. Track volume activity of suppliers.

• Gathering/completing all required supplier governance documents, and work with the team to extract key terms and upload to database.

• Liaising with internal stakeholders in advance of contract expiration to allow time for a competitive bidding process if needed.

• Properly winding down supplier relationships that are expiring or terminating.

• Evaluating potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement.

• Monitoring and report on the performance of selected suppliers to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics.

• Managing outward communication to suppliers to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges.

• Working closely with Managers to manage contract procurement and renewal. Take a strategic approach to ensure the approach to procuring services takes best advantage of market capability and drives efficiency and continual service improvement.

• Working with suppliers and Technology management to provide value and opportunities for working in partnership with suppliers to deliver the outcomes of the Technology strategy.

• Ensuring enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing supplier monitoring are being accomplished.

• Participating to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for boarding suppliers.

• Collaborating with IT areas to assure supplier partners are effectively managed plus contracts are leveraged and complied to.
