Our client, one of the largest financial service organizations in Canada, is hiring an Marketing Manager for an 18 month contract with permanent potential.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely execution and delivery of multiple marketing projects to internal clients; delivering above-expectation, on-time and on-budget;
• Strong copywriting and editing capabilities with a focus on customer-centric messaging;
• Review content to ensure effective and consistent articulation of brand and messaging consistency across various audiences, both public-facing and internal;
• Strong design understanding with the ability to provide direction to internal Branding and Communications partner for the design and execution of marketing materials and coordinate the production of marketing materials to end user;
• Review content to ensure effective and consistent articulation of brand and messaging consistency across various audiences, both public-facing and internal;
• Liaise with the Managing Director, Leasing in the development of leasing programs to maximize marketing and leasing initiatives;
• Build solid working relationships with the regional field offices to meet their needs with regards to marketing and communications mandates and programs;
• Keep abreast of current trends and maintain expertise in evolving marketing platforms and resources to develop and maintain best in class solutions;
• Participate in marketing and communication strategy development.

Qualifications
• University or college degree in marketing, communications, public relations or journalism / media.
• 3 - 5 years progressive work experience in a marketing function, or in a related field
• Excellent communications skills with strong ability to create, compose and edit written materials that are impactful and compelling.
• Results oriented with strong project management skills and proven ability to develop, recommend and implement marketing and communications plans and strategies to meet business objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and build consensus effectively, and to interface with senior executives.
• Knowledge of marketing communications principles for both digital and print mediums.
• Working knowledge in marketing / media platforms: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Sharepoint, and other content management systems.
• Proven ability to adapt in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface and work effectively with a wide range of people.
• Hands-on and proactive with initiative to work with minimal supervision.
• High level of creativity combined with strong business sense to deliver dynamic and effective messages and solutions.
• Career oriented with a demonstrated track record of success and a drive to succeed.
