Our Mississauga client is a leader in the chemical management and distribution industry. Some of the products they distribute are paints, coatings, solvents and sealants. They service the Aerospace, Rail, Marine, Mining, Automotive and Building industries.

We are looking for a hard working, self motivated, independent candidate with a CAN DO attitude.This is a Full Time Permanent Position. If you have previous inventory, material handling or shipping/receiving experience in the Manufacturing sector this is the position for you.


SHIFT: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (Overtime/flexibility Required)


POSITION: Material Handler


Our client is seeking a Material Handler to help their company. This individual will be cross-trained in all aspects of operating within the facility, from shipping and receiving, to order processing, to delivery of supplies. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who enjoys an active position where you are standing or walking the majority of the day and are involved in a wide variety of tasks.

10% of the role will be clerical and 90% will be warehouse work

Administrative Responsibilities:

- Create Purchase Orders
- Order Product
- Create Sales Order
- Create Invoices
- Track Inventory in system
- Prepare documents for shipping/receiving
- Check for discrepancies in the system
- Use Excel, Word, Email software

Warehouse Responsibilities:

- Load/Unload vehicle (50lb lifting)
- Deliver product to various client sites daily
- Physically verify items in stock
- Move items on pallets around warehouse
- Drive company truck
- Repair equipment (training provided)
- Maintaining clean department
- Order picking/packaging
- Usage of equipment such as knife, tape gun & pallet jack

- Minimum High school education
- Previous experience in warehouse environment
- Experience in Manufacturing environment
- Transportation of Dangerous Good Certificate an asset
- Material Handling Experience
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, databases)
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear driving record
- Able to work independently with no supervision
