We have a permanent opportunity for a qualified Material Handler/Forklift Operator to work in a manufacturing facility in Cambridge

In this role you will be operating a forklift, delivering materials around the plant, storing materials as requested, stacking and banding pallets. Supporting the machine operators when needed.

This is a fast growing operation with opportunity to advance your skills and work for a well established and highly successful company!

- $15 hourly + $200 bonus each pay guaranteed while on probation
- quarterly profit sharing (in the past it has equalled $3-$5/hr)
- permanent direct hire (go directly on to their payroll)
- benefits after 3 months and quarterly profit sharing
- excellent opportunity to grow within this organization and learn new skills
- shift is two days on, two days off monthly rotating continental 7:30pm -7:30am
- overtime after 40 hours a week
- double time after 48 hours in a week
- working in a team and independently

- good working knowledge of computers (word, excel, shipping software)
- knowledge of shipping/receiving paperwork
- strong time management skills and team player
- 1+ years experience operating a forklift (counterbalance)
- familiar with shipping and receiving duties, strapping and banding
- physically able to lift 50lbs, bending, twist and squat
- experience in a manufacturing setting an asset
- able to provide two supervisory references
- able to pass a criminal record check and complete pre-employment testing
