If you are a Mechanical Engineer with P.Eng and experience in heavy equipment fabrication then this is the role for you! Our client in the Stoney Creek area has partnered with Randstad Engineering on their search for a Mechanical Engineer with a P.Eng who can lead their Engineering department.

As a Mechanical Engineer with a P.Eng you will be doing the following,

- Lead the Engineering department (Mechanical Engineer + Electrical Engineer)
- Suggest better ways to be efficient and look at the overall big picture of what the department could look like in future
- Working collaboratively with the team - VP, GM, Mech Eng
- Following project course to meet deadlines and communicating changes as needed
- Working with suppliers managing timelines for machined items to arrive to meet project timeline
- Be involved in Tool Box Talks and be of a Safety mindset
- Modify existing drawings from existing library and draft new drawings as needed 60/40split
- Work between shop and office communicating with various team members

As a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a P.Eng you will possess the following qualifications

- 3-5 years experience
- Mechanical Engineering University Degree
- P.Eng is a MUST HAVE
- Experience with hydraulics, metal fabrication, machining, manufacturing
- Autodesk, AutoCAD, Inventor
- Project management based experience, able to follow project from start to finish and project timelines, communicate effectively any changes if timeline not able to be met
- Detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, organized, willing to work whatever it takes
- Good personality, able to collaborate with teams effectively
- Be open to new ideas and thinking outside the box
