Are you a technologist with a strong mechanical aptitude? Do you have experience working in a custom manufacturing environment?

Our client in the Stoney Creek area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for Mechanical Technologists to join their team!

In this role, responsibilities would include:
- Assembly of products using standard shop procedures, mechanical drawings, and other written or verbal instructions.
- Assemble and test precision high-reliability electro-mechanical products and prototypes.
- Perform repairs on production equipment.
- Provide input of design requirements and drawings.
- Provide input to specifications and procedures.
- Accountable for mechanical portions of system or tooling building.
- Participates in the commissioning of prototype and production machines.

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in tooling and mechanical equipment is preferred
- Post secondary education in Mechanical Engineering
- A mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required
- Knowledge of quality control tools is required
- Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset
