Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking for an Operations Officer for a 3 month contract in Downtown Toronto! Do you have excellent communication skills, are tech savvy and are a team player? If so, this is a great opportunity for you!

Pay Rate: $19.00/ hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

As an Operations Officer your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Confirm transactions using various methods such as phone, fax, swift and email
- Maintain sufficient audit trails on all confirmations
- Work with areas such as Trading, Middle Office, Trade Validation and Treasury as it relates to confirming new deal structures, resolving discrepancies and ensuring Regulatory and Audit guidelines are being met and adhered to.
- Escalate all unconfirmed trades to the manager
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries

Qualifications
Must have:
- Advanced communication skills
- Exp. adhering to strict deadlines & handling high volumes of work in a demanding env.
- Proficient in MS Office

- Organized and attention to detail
- Team player

Nice to have:
- Mutual fund experience
- CSC designation
- Banking/ finance sector experience
