Do you have experience with Payroll & Benefits? If so, we are seeking a stand-alone Payroll Specialist for an opportunity to work with a large reputable Finacial Services Firm. The successful candidate will have experience processing US + CAD payroll for 250+ employees, employee benefits, terminations, wage garnishments and month end reconciliations. This position will start immediately.

Responsibilities:
* Processing multi-provincial + potential US payroll of 250+ employees with accuracy into Ceridian ERP
* Responsible for all transactions such as payout requests, adjustments, deductions, benefits & garnishments
* Preparation of remittances, payroll reporting, and processing all records of employment
* Processing all paperwork for all new hires, benefit changes, terminations + ROEs
* Month-end payroll reconciliations and ensuring the G/L is balanced accordingly

Requirements:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of processing high volume payroll in a similar or related working environment
* Advanced experience and working knowledge of Ceridian software
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
* Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
