Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a 6 month contract in Downtown Toronto! Do you have payroll experience and have advanced excel skills? This could be the job for you!

Pay Rate: $20.00/ hr
Shift Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5 or 8-4

As a Payroll Specialist your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Payroll Processing team
- Complete monthly reconciliation of active payroll accounts, family support deductions and charitable deductions
- Balance pension payrolls
- Ensure all statutory and non statutory remittances are completed
- Fund payrolls for banking employees
- Complete stock purchases

Qualifications
- Advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, V look ups, formulas, functions, and macros)
- Analytical Thinking
- Exp. performing detailed data investigations & recommend specific solutions
- Exp. with Peoplesoft or Workday
- Strong Data Entry/Keyboarding skills (Speed and accuracy)
- 1 year Payroll Experience
