Our client, a manufacturing organization in Cambridge, has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Production Manager to join their team. As a Production Manager, you will ensure that the manufacturing processes runs reliably and efficiently as per the planned schedule.

In this role, responsibilities would include:
- Generate and monitor production schedules
- Oversee the entire production process and adjust as needed based on plan/schedule
- Monitor cost effectiveness of production
- Work closely with procurement to decide what resources are required
- Selection and maintenance of equipment
- Monitor product standards and implement quality control & lean activities
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Manage employee performance
- Identify training needs, and develop a plan

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience in a management/supervision
- Strong production planning/scheduling background
- Post secondary education in related field
- Experience with lean manufacturing
