We are looking for a Program Manager - Interop/TM Program Manager - Senior

Role description:
This role is responsible for the management of multiple inter-dependent projects and responsible to provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

Summary of tasks:
Oversees all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
Responsible to establish program and project level reporting with an aim to improving visibility of the performance and ensuring accurate allocations of resources throughout the program.
Identifies and establishes new governance processes with an aim to ensuring adherence to established delivery methodologies and conformity to PMO standards and measures
Identifies opportunities for tools and aids to support project managers to be more effective/efficient at their jobs while facilitating collection of metrics for reporting and governance.
Leads multi-disciplinary teams, composed of various levels of personnel, vendors, and clients to create and deploy successful programs.
Work closely with Interop team to follow up on requirements to encompass other railroads identification of entry/exit track by train-route requirements as well as traffic volume analysis.
Work with each CN partner, starting in June with Amtrak, to identify and classify all GIS requirements.
Assist the BAs in traffic volume analysis involves capturing the info available from Transportation and rationalizing with the info already gathered from finance to consolidate an understanding of Interop volume (foreign power, foreign trains) on CN track by corridor.

Mandatory skills:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Management ideally in IT/transportation sector.
Exposure to (GIS - Geospatial Information Systems) projects
Experience managing complex projects in large organizations.
Intermediate to expert skill with MS project.
PMP Certification.
PCT or railroad experience an Asset
Bilingual preferred (English spoken and written mandatory).
Soft skills : leadership, good communication skills, result oriented
