Would you describe yourself as someone who has a passion for getting the small details right as well as a high standard of service delivery?We are looking for a Route Sales Representative to join our team and work for one of the leading manufacturers and marketers of Fresh and Frozen Bakery Products. Shifts: oThey start as early as 3 to 4 am in the morning: oTue/Fri shifts are approximately 8-9 hours while Mon/Wed/Saturday are longer approx. 12-14 hrs.What you need to know about the job:o Set up and load orders in bulk or by customero Operate a 3-5 ton cube van in the city and highways in all safe weather conditionso Deliver product to established scheduled customerso Stock and rotate product on store shelves and displayso Set up displays and promotional materials such as pricing signs and bannerso Maintain stock levels by ordering regular and feature itemso Merchandise all accounts to standardo Establish positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each accounto Generate invoices and maintain responsibility for daily cash settlemento Complete fully and accurately all necessary paperworko Follow direction of the Territory Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Supervisor, SalesAdvantageso Benefits after probation is complete. o Overtime Hours are occasionally available. o Great for self-driven people who like to work with autonomy. o Great for someone looking for a mixture of tasks to do at work. o Great opportunities for advancement.Qualificationso Have a High School Diploma or equivalent GEDo Have CSA approved footwearo Have a mobile phoneo Have a valid driver’s license (recent drivers abstract must be provided)o Able to push/pull/lift up to 150 lbs with assistanceo Physically fit and able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squattingo Willing to work early mornings(3-4 am), weekends, and overtime as requiredIf this sounds like your next career, we are looking forward to hearing from you.
