    Our client, a Plastics Manufacturer in the Brantford area, has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Plant Manager to join their team! As a Plant Manager, you would evaluate processes to configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices. Specific responsibilities would include: -Act as a key member of the facility management team reporting to the General Manager, providing support/direction of the manufacturing process and equipment decisions.-Facilitating all aspects of process engineering for new and existing products from feasibility testing to process automation.-Developing chain of tasks for process, establishing methods of production & process directives, resolving problems / bottlenecks, providing analysis of data and generating required compliance documentation.-Optimize Production Rate and Quality and Safety by eliminating bottlenecks in the Injection molding process.-Evaluate efficiency and capacity and safety of process equipment.-Review processing performance with plant team daily.-Lead safety meetings-Understand the importance of minimizing environmental impacts in the processing and manufacturing of plastic.
