Quantity Surveyor - Senior

- Prepares and maintains the established project quantity management program on site and prepares appropriate reports.

- Manages the measurement of baseline quantities for review.

- Coordinates reconciliation of installed quantities with the contractors.

- Responsible for all monthly status updates for the project.

- Accumulates and compiles accurate quantity installation data and assists in entering that data into the Client's proprietary construction progress measurement system to verify that installed quantities reflect an accurate assessment of work completion.

- Participates in weekly project cost reviews/schedule meetings.

- Responsible for the development of detailed material take-offs.

- Evaluates and identifies trends and deviations and recommends corrective courses of action with regard to quantity budgets vs. installed quantities.

- Provides meaningful, accurate historical quantity and cost data.

- Takes responsibility for self-checking the accuracy of the QS / Progress teams work and that of subordinates, where applicable.

- Other QS / progress management duties as assigned.


- Prefer a four-year Bachelors degree or four years of relevant Engineering, Construction, or Project Controls experience.

- Persons who do not possess a college degree may substitute a relevant certificate or diploma.

- 20+ years of experience within engineering, construction environment. 5+ years experience in Quantity Surveying
