Our client is a leader in the retail industry and is hiring General Warehouse Associates for their well-known distribution centres in Brampton and Mississauga. We are looking for people who have experience working in shipping and receiving departments in a warehouse environment.

This is a PERMANENT DIRECT HIRE with our client and the positions start immediately!

As a General Warehouse Associate you will be required to work in the Shipping and Receiving departments which includes material handling of clothing, accessories and home goods.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- Day Shift - Monday to Friday from 6:45am to 3:00pm
- Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday from 3:45pm to 12:00am

PAY RATE: $14.50 per hour and a $0.50 increase on December 21 2018
PREMIUM RATE: An additional $0.50 for working on the afternoon shift
PREMIUM RATE: An additional $0.30 for working in Shipping and Receiving

Job Responsibilities:
- Loading and Offloading trailers
- Sort and palletize cartons/merchandise
- Placing merchandise in designated staging areas
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with all health and safety legislations

Qualifications
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have previous shipping and receiving experience
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to clear a criminal background check, processed through Randstad
