Are you looking for an opportunity where you can build a career? We have a great job for you! You’ll start out on contract till Dec 31/2018, with the opportunity to stay on permanently. As a reservation sales associate, your primary responsibility is to assist guests with making hotel reservations, modifications and cancellations. Your biggest strength is your ability to field customer interactions in a positive and productive way. You’re knowledgeable about company products and services and able to answer any questions or concerns flawlessly. At the same time, you’re numbers-oriented and always keep your goals and targets in mind.

About the job:
• Central, uptown location in Saint John (Bell Aliant Building)
• Start date July 16th, 2018
• There are lots of opportunities and the team is growing quickly!
• Schedule will be 3:30pm to midnight, 5 days per week including weekends; you’ll always have 2 consecutive non-weekend days off
• This is a flexible opportunity – you can work for just the summer (May to August) or opt to stay on after your initial contract is over, if you want something more permanent
• You’ll start out on contract but have the chance to become a permanent, full-time team member
• Pay rate is $14.00/hour
• Extensive training to be provided – you’ll begin the job with 8 days in-person classroom learning and 12-days of live in-the-job training

What the job will involve:
Above all reservation sales associate specialists excel at customer interactions and providing an amazing experience to customers. Some of your specific duties include:
• Responding to inbound customer calls with warmth and professionalism
• Using sales techniques to promote products and services
• Achieving KPIs and objectives related to productivity, quality, efficiency and teamwork
• Thoroughly understanding company procedures, especially as it relates to making reservations
• Following all company policies to ensure compliance and a high standard of service
• Participating in team meetings and bring forward any issues that need to be resolved

• Location is in uptown Saint John (Bell Aliant Building)
• Office tower is extremely central, a 2 minute walk from the pier
• Close to all the best Saint John shopping and restaurants – right next to an open air market
• Office building is connected directly to the market and food court
• Lots lunch options available including a nice in-house lunch room, as well as the food court, and lots spaces outside – very green, lots of trees and seating that make an awesome place to have lunch or get outside during your lunch hour
