Senior Software Developer (C++)- Permanent position

We are seeking an experienced developer for our client's team.

You will develop, test, deploy and maintain software for our client solutions!

In this role you will also :

▪Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
▪Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
▪Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test
▪Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
▪Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
▪Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.

The Senior Software Developer will be a team player and responsible for building and maintaining our cutting edge computer vision and analysis desktop product. The location is in the West Island or can be downtown.


The profile we are seeking:
▪5+ years of professional experience in development
▪Strong background in C++
▪Proficiency with the Qt framework
▪Experience developing for Windows/Linux/MacOS platforms
▪Proficiency with git version control system
▪Familiarity with OpenCV
▪College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Any of these skills would be an asset:

▪Experience working with Adobe APIs (Datalogics)
▪Experience with testing frameworks
▪Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Datastore) - Schema design,
▪querying, optimization
