Do you have previous experience providing HR support specifically in Benefits and Pension? Are you looking for a new opportunity to work and develop your skills in a nationally recognized company? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant - Benefits and Wealth to work a 6 month assignment in our clients downtown Toronto office, supporting the company's Benefits & Wealth and Compensation teams. In this role you will work full time hours on a 6 month assignment and earn a competitive rate of up to $32 per hour, based on candidate qualifications. As a Senior Consultant - Benefits and Wealth you will be responsible for the following:

• Act as a resource to internal client groups in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures;
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external program vendors to ensure policy compliance, develop and report success metrics, and proactively identify and address issues;
• Monitor data and reporting with the goal of:
o Providing value based analytics
o Proactive, value-focused communication to internal client groups and business partners;
o Identification of trends and development of solutions to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness; and
o Alignment / translation of data into internal HR/Total Rewards metrics
• Support the development and execution of communication material, including sense & response management (identify and address plan trends through targeted and broad-based initiatives);
• Liaise with internal client groups and our external providers to identify opportunities for improvements – including act as a key resource in the development and execution of changes;
• Support day to day provider management; and
• Support and lead projects as required

• Gain experience working with a nationally recognized telecommunications organization
• Work full time hours on a 6 month assignment
• Earn a competitive rate of up to $32 per hour
• Work in Downtown Toronto

• University degree or equivalent education (Business/Human Resources preferred) or equivalent experience;
• A professional designation such as Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or CEBS designation would be an asset;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Compensation & Benefits role. Experience gained from working in a medium-to large-sized national organization would be an asset;
• A strong understanding of general Human Resources practices and related legislation;
• Proficiency with MS Office products and knowledge of HR Systems would be an asset;
• Excellent written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and present issues to a diverse client group with the purpose of identifying resolutions; and
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment, balancing the activities of many priorities/projects at any one time.
