Are you a Control Systems Software Designer with over 5 years experience? Are you looking to be a part of a rapidly growing organization? This role is for you! We are looking for a Senior Controls Software Designer to join the team in Cambridge.

As a Senior Contro Systems designer, you will be responsible for:

- design and develop PLC and/or PC based software programs specific to customer and project requirements
- select, test and integrate hardware and software components such as robots, analog devices, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems and lasers
- debug and commission control systems at facility, during the system integration stage ant then at the customer's site during installation
- work with customers, project managers, designers, toolmakers and electricians to solve problems in order to provide the customer with a complete, functional automation system
- travel as required to customer and supplier test sites to perform installation, commissioning and training duties

As a Senior Control Systems Designer, you meet the following requirements:

- engineering degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in mechanical, electrical, systems or computer engineering
- C# programming experience is a plus
- strong programming, mechanical and electrical problem solving skills
- understanding of robotics, controls systems and machine operation with hands-on experience
