Do you have previous Graphic Design experience across multiple mediums, specifically related to Branding? Are you a
Senior Graphic Designer looking for an opportunity to support a globally recognized organization? If so we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to work a 3-6 month assignment (TBD), supporting our client in the Insurance and Financial Services industry. In this role you will work full time hours from Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm, earn a competitive rate of up to $40 per hour, and work in their downtown Toronto office. As a Senior Graphic Designer you will be responsible for the following:

• Designing or creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, print products, electronic products or logos.
• Creating layout specifications and animation for electronic products
• Supporting brand launch pieces – involves flushing out design templates, design guide development, design/art direction support to other inhouse designers.
• Working with a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects.
• Archiving and retrieving artwork and electronic files as well as burning CDs and DVDs as needed
• Managing projects to budget and schedule
• Working well in a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists

• Gain experience working with a leading Insurance and Financial Services company
• Work full time hours on a 3-6 month assignment (duration still being determined)
• Earn a competitive rate of up to $40 per hour
• Downtown Toronto Location

• 8+ years of previous graphic design experience, preferably with experience in Branding
• In-depth experience in Graphic design (concept development to production), digital design development, design support (art direction when needed) the designer must also be well versed in environmental design/display graphic - Meaning large scale wall and window graphics, room graphics etc.
• Must have knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design
• Strong understanding of multiple mediums, ranging from print to digital
• Familiar with Design Style guides, following and building guides
• Strong design production and art direction skills - able to further guide other designers according to design guideline rules/expectations.
• Familiar with brand architecture and style guides
• Experience using Mac based software – primarily InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator •
