Senior Mechanical Designer

Are you looking for a challenging opportunity as a Senior Mechanical Designer in a large company, working with an experienced Engineering team? If you have practical experience in Engineering for Automotive mechanical systems this may be the opportunity you are waiting for!

In this position you will be:

• Mechanical design hydraulic and pneumatics and/or cooling systems to meet customer requirements and specifications
• Develop and maintain data, prepare and present formal Design Reviews
• Investigate, respond, and implement corrective action to Production or supplier
• Support prototype builds, create test plans, execute tests and create test reports to validate designs, mitigate risks and/or troubleshoot problems
• Plan, organize, and maintain records to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget

Required Qualifications:

• University degree or College Diploma in mechanical engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with mechanical automotive systems in any of the following: Hydraulic, HVAC, Air cleaner, or Exhaust
• High analytical skills to solve problems at component, subsystem, and system/vehicle
• Experienced with mechanical drawings, bills of material, engineering release procedures
• Demonstrated strength in MS Office
• Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.
