Our Manufacturing client West of London is looking for a Senior Regional Controller to oversee the financial reporting of the company on a permanent basis.

•Ability to maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems
•Preparing financial reports, forecasts, budgets and cost reports
•Overseeing the accounting staff, and the financial analysts
•Corresponds with the senior management regarding any financial decisions that are made
•Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
•Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans
•Working with staff in the accounting department in determining the level of profitability of the company within a specified time
•Ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations
•Ensuring that the decision makers in the firm understand the financial implications of the missions they set for their company in a specific period
•Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
•Liaises with corporate on tax, audit, insurance, statutory and government reporting

•College Diploma or University Degree and a Professional Accounting Designation
•10 Years’ Experience in Accounting and Financial reporting roles in a manufacturing environment
•Working knowledge and understanding of current Canadian Tax Act
•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•Extensive experience with Microsoft excel and financial analysis software
