Senior Transportation Engineer
On behalf of our Engineering Consulting client in the London area Randstad Engineering is sourcing for a Senior Transportation Engineer with experience in a variety of sectors and technical services.

The focus of this role is to service public and private clients across Ontario, where there are a variety of current and future infrastructure servicing, land development and traffic/transportation projects at various stages of development.

Transportation Engineer Requirements
•Civil Engineering Degree or related
•PMP - Project Management Certificate or related training
•Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario
•10+ Years of Project Experience
•Accurate knowledge of provincial and municipal review processes
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Job Details:
Reporting to the VP of Transportation, this position will involve working with a team of engineers, CETs, EITs, and other technical professionals in addition but not limited to:
•Support project/client managers in establishing appropriate timelines for deliverables and work with design teams, throughout the offices, to drive the schedule
•Complete studies and analysis of transportation and road needs
•Peer review of traffic and transportation studies completed for development projects
•Complete detailed road management plans for municipalities in Ontario
•Work with the leadership team on client development
•Ensure quality and timely delivery of project deliverables to meet the client’s needs
•Lead the design implementation and day to day project coordination with overall project team
•Provide mentorship and training to junior and intermediate engineers and other technical staff and participate actively and formally in their development plans
•Work with senior staff and client leads to establish overall design strategies and approaches
•Assisting in client development, project budgeting and preparation of proposals
•Rail, Transit or Highway design experience is considered an asset
